✅ Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the definition, implementation and follow-up of central financial processes, including annual budgeting, monthly financial reports and KPI analysis.

• Management of the finance team (3 people), with the prospect of developing into the CFO role

• Creating and discussing budgets for the business unit, monitoring budget compliance and analyzing deviations.

• Conducting comprehensive financial analysis to inform advice and reporting, including forecasting, scenario planning, customer and product profitability, and business cases.

• Advising various stakeholders (including CEO, senior management, Group CFO, directors) on financial matters related to sales and operations.

• Developing and analyzing regular reports (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow), identifying trends and deriving recommendations for management.

• Analyzing the (financial) organization, processes and administration, identifying potential financial risks and contributing to the development of risk control procedures.

• Working closely with various business units and actively participating in process development.

🖥️ Professional background

• Several years of professional experience as a (senior) business controller in industry

  • ideally in an international environment

  • ideally in a medium-sized company

  • ideally as part of a global group (group reporting)

• Very good knowledge of all financial processes in a manufacturing company, including annual budgeting, monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

• Business acumen: Strong ability to analyze margin trends at the company and product level in detail and to define suitable financial metrics.

• IT tools: Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI and ideally experience with MS Navision.

• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.

  • The company language is German and English

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance or Controlling or a comparable qualification.
